Description
Print-in-Place Cable Tag
This is a print-in-place cable tag that becomes a permanent part of the cable once printed. The print includes a pause midway to allow you to insert the cable. From that point onward, I recommend staying with the printer and gently supporting the cable to prevent the nozzle from bumping into it during movement.
I’ve made three size variants:
These cover the cables I needed to tag. I measured each cable with a vernier caliper and then chose a slightly larger hole size—for example, the 3.8 mm tag fits well on a 3.6 mm cable.
The text is fully editable in Bambu Studio, so you can customize the label to your needs.
Note: When inserting the cable, stay with the printer until the print completes. I usually just support the cable by hand for the final 5 minutes to avoid the nozzle knocking it loose.
