LED Adjustable Laptop holder-crystal cluster style

I created another crystal cluster laptop holder with LED within the base to light up the crystal. I recommend white or transparent for the crystal.

The laptop stand itself is space saving as my table is always full of unfinished projects. The crystals mounts onto the base with 2 or 4 screws, depending on how secure you want it and how heavy your device is.

I use it with my Lenovo X1 Carbon (quite thin), with 4 screws it holds devices up to around 27mm.

Using just 2 screws it up to crazy 42 mm, dont know what it could be for but better having it than needing it :)

 

If you want to use the diffuser scale the 3 parts to total 121 mm depending on how thick your laptop is. I used the black ones for the outside to not dazzle beside the crystals and hide the unused gaps around it. The middle part is for the white diffuser. Just slide them in.

Necessary Hardware:

• 2 or 4 M3 Screws 10mm long
• 2 or 4 M3 inserts. Mine are 4 mm high, 5 mm in head diameter. Size of wholes is 4.5 mm, maximum depth is 8mm. I bought these but any same size should fit: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0BTYF2MMD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
• LED strip 10mm wide. Should not get too hot, i have a RGB with 12 Volt
