I designed this ball marker with a built-in stroke counter to help keep track of shots on the course.
Two versions included: one with a blank case top, and one with a simple design for extra style.
Numbers are slightly recessed faces in the model so you can paint them a different colour in the slicer for visibility.
Counter goes up to 9.
Print tips:
Clean build plate before printing for best adhesion (important for numbers and spring).
Suggested settings: 0.2 mm layer height, PLA.
Assembly:
First put the ‘spring’ into the notches inside the bottom half of the case. I find it's best to have the face that was printed on the build plate to face up.
Then insert the ‘spur’ with the numbers over the spring, making sure to line up the one of the numbers with the bend in the spring.
Then the top case can snap into place. I find that the friction between the cases is enough to kepp it together so no glue required.
