Hornet figure - Hollow Knight Silksong celebration

Right on time for the announced release of Hollow Knight: Silksong, here’s my fan-made Hornet figure for 3D printing—created as a clean, desk-friendly tribute. 

The model comes in three ready-to-print setups: a full four-color profile with crisp part separation, a three-plate workflow that still uses four colors but drastically cuts down on filament swaps, and a single-color profile for anyone who prefers priming and hand-painting. 

Suggested colors are White for mask details, Black for body/eyes elements, Red for Cloth, and Silver/Light Grey for the needle and base—feel free to adjust to your palette. 

 

The signature “silk thread” is done with solder wire. Cut to length, dry-fit, then glue at the very end; if you’re using leaded solder, a clear coat is a good idea and keep it away from children. Please dry-fit the pose before gluing—the leg angle is a little finicky, so use the photos as reference to nail the stance. Thick superglue works well for assembly.
