Samsung Front-Control Knob Guard (Full Cover)

Front-control ranges put knobs at hip level, making it easy to bump a knob accidentally (kids, pets, or a hip check). This is a print-friendly full-cover knob guard design intended to help reduce accidental bumps or turns. It uses a base + lid and mounts with adhesive.

What this is

• Two-piece cover (base + lid) for front-control ranges
• Clear-lid option so you can see On/Off and the knob position (clear prints can be a bit cloudy)
• Designed around Samsung front-control layout; may fit others with similar spacing
• Requires adhesive to mount the base

What’s included

• Base.stl
• CoverLid.stl (or lid file in the 3MF)

Install (adhesive required)

• Clean the stove face with isopropyl alcohol and let dry
• Apply small 2–3 mm adhesive dots/squares (or thin strip) to the back of the base (keep adhesive inside the perimeter)
• Press firmly for 30–60 seconds and let the adhesive cure per product instructions before normal use

Assembly (IMPORTANT)

Don’t press the lid straight down onto both hinge barrels at the same time — you can split the hinge holder.

Snap one side first:

1. Hold the base steady
2. Snap the lid hinge onto one side
3. Repeat on the other side

Printing

• Lives near heat → PETG recommended (ASA/ABS also OK)
• PLA may soften if the area gets warm
• Print the lid in clear if you want visibility
• Smooth plate finish helps it seat better
• No supports recommended (as designed)

Notes & tips

• Fit can vary by stove — verify clearance around neighboring knobs before sticking it down
• If hinge feels tight or loose: small XY scaling changes (±1%) can help
