Comfy 5 Gallon Bucket Handle V2

A Simple Solution to a Big Problem!

Five gallon bucket handles (or similar bucket handles) have a history of cracking, breaking, being uncomfortable, or just falling off. Solve that problem with this easy cheap print! Simply print it out, and slot the two pieces together around the metal part of the handle. Be sure the metal part isn't bent up, or it might not go on. You are going to have to squeeze them together pretty hard to make them go together. Try printing with PETG or Bambu Lab's PLA Tuff, for better strength and outdoor results. 

 

Version 2 

This is the second five gallon bucket handle model I have designed (you can find the first one here). This version solved a few problems that plagued the first. The attachment method has been made more robust, in order that they stay together stronger. Additionally, the version two is easier to print, with fewer supports. It is also larger than the first version, making it slightly more comfortable for bigger hands. 

 

Compatibility

For all five gallon buckets and similar buckets, with metal handles. The model is made to replace small cracked or missing plastic handles that normally come on five gallon buckets.
