Hot and Cold Indicator for Faucet

Hot and cold indicator replacement for your faucet.

 

The first prototype was a replica of a standard hot and cold indicator but the design was not ideal for 3d printing.

The legs were very brittle and kept breaking when inserted into the faucet regardless of the printing orientation.

 

To fix that, I simply decided to make the base solid and tight fit. This also made it easier to print the part on its side for the AMS since it's the ideal position to minimaze filament waste.

Instructions

You can choose between a AMS and no AMS version.  For the no AMS version, I added a pause at layer 17 to swap the color manually.
