Sliding Lid Container - Customizable!

Based on my improving SCAD skills and the idea I had for my daughter in this 3D Model, I came up with this Customizable Sliding Lid Container to assist everyone else with similar but slightly different needs.

 

The available parameters you can customize in mm measurements are:

• Width
• Depth
• Heigh
• Wall Thickness
• Clearance (for a tighter or looser lid)
• Fillet (for a bit of rounding to the corners)
• Optional Finger Hold (something to grab when opening the lid)

This should be able to generate an STL for any size box that will fit your printer without the headaches that come with searching for the “perfect” model on Makerworld.  I'm including a sample print profile for a small version that you could use as an example of what's possible and the default settings in the customizer will produce an ideal print.

 

I have found the .15mm clearance is the best value to use, but your printer may differ, therefore I left it editable.
