Hobie Kayak Hatch Bucket

As someone who frequently uses my tandem kayak to fish with my son, I wanted an easily accessible location for frozen bait that would not require “crew coordination” to use. I came up with this bucket that fits in the hatch that can be filled with ice to keep bait cold. This bucket extends nearly to the bottom of the hull of my tandem Oasis.

It can also be used in conjunction with AnimalFrendo's 8" hatch bucket organizer to turn the hatch into an all-in-one fishing bait and tackle compartment as shown in the last photo.
