Cord Passthru

 

 

Large Cord Sliding Cover Passthru 

 

 

This Cord pass thru was designed for my Generator Enclosure so the 4" hole was 

sized to have plenty of room for a 50 amp House Inlet connection.

 

But it's uses don't stop there, it can be scaled to allow covered cord passthru's for Printer enclosures too! 

 

The Nut is the primary design for installation, but you could replace the anti rotation plugs with screws.

 

The Sliding Face Plate can be printed upright with zero supports OR I recommend the PETG with PLA supports. Makes for a smooth sliding surface and with just minimal effort the support brace just slides right out.

 

The H2D made this part very easy with the dual Nozzles. 

However make sure you have the purge set appropriately If you are using an AMS to switch between on a single nozzle. 

 

Alternate Print Orientation to avoid supports!

However, depending on your printer, The Face Place may not be as esthetic of a look.

 

I have plans to incorporate a scaled version of this into my Printer Enclosure setups in the future.
