Description
This is a partial insert for the board game Zombicide White Death
Zombicide: White Death | Board Game | BoardGameGeek
I designed this to compliment the Tinkering Paws insert which can be purchased here:
Zombicide: White Death - Board Game Insert - STL-FILES ONLY – Tinkering Paws®
I feel that for the walkers and various mobs, that the larger rail design which condenses well works well. I didn't want to design all of what TP did. The main issue I wanted to resolve was to make it easier to find specific survivors which due to needing to be split up by height and many layers deep in a way that wasn't visible was hard to do in the existing insert. This design uses the remaining smaller box (TMNT or Eternal Empire) to store two large shelves of survivors with a two smaller ones to replace the M2 rail of the TP insert.
The way I split mine up is nearly all alphabetically to make it easy to find. The exceptions are:
Genghis Khan and Huang Gai who were a bit too tall for the larger shelves, but fit fine in M2 replacement shelves so I put them at the end. Along with them at the end, I put all of the TMNT allies to keep them as a set. In addition, I put the main 4 TMNT characters where TP had them in the large box as well as Jiraiya where it was in the place with the other larger minis.
These files contain no part of the Tinkering Paws insert. This is a modification of a design I had done previously for CDMD. As in that design, I split up the prints to be glued into one large shelf. In this case, there are 4 pieces each for the two shelves. The tabs to grip to pull them out need tree supports. The M2 replacement shelves print as they are without glue or support. If there's anyone who would like it, I could probably design a version quick that could go onto a larger build plate (needs 297x297). Here is the guide I did for glueing pieces together quickly.
The basic process is:
I use this activated adhesive: https://a.co/d/8laYAcL
I apply the glue to one side then put them together. There are connection points to make it easy to keep in place. I wipe off the excess. I spray the activator at the seams and just enough gets in that it's immediately connected and ready to use.
