APACHE 2800 Protective Case Falcon Controller

This is a insert that fits very snug inside the APACHE 2800 Weatherproof Protective Case which can be purchased at harbor freight. I made this for my Falcon controller boards and power supplies. There are several different configurations which also include brackets you can screw to the top lid and mount 2 meanwell LRS-350 power supplies. The Brackets use a M5 16 screw which used with the washers I also include fit very tight. The boards are connected to the main insert using M3 8 screws.

 

I highly recommend you snap both sides of the insert together and mount any power supply to the insert first before press fitting into the bottom of the case. You will not be able to screw the power supplies in if you don't do that first (for those configurations that have the PS mounted to the main insert). On each side of the inserts I included slots that you can put stabilizer pegs for additional support but personally I did not use them. The insert is so snug they won't be needed but if for some reason your printer tolerance is loose then you might give them a go.

 

Other than m5 16 screws and m3 8 screws everything else is included, obviously excluding the PS and controllers. This took me awhile to get right due to the curved bottom sides of the case so please help a fellow 3d guy out by giving me a boost.
