Update: Added an optional TPU pad you can glue to the underside of the upper jaw on the bracket for extra grip
This model allows you to attach an power extension lead to the edge of a table without damaging the table. It should work with any extension that has a fixing slot on back.
You will need to print out at least 2 brackets, and if your extension has more than 2 fixing holes then you can print out one bracket for each. You will need a 4mm button head bolt between 15-25mm, plus a matching nut. The bolt must be able to fit into the slot.
Each bracket consists of 3 parts.
Assembly is simple. First place the nut into the tightening wheel.
Slide the tightening wheel onto the bracket, nut forwards.
Screw the 4mm steel bolt through the hole into the tightening wheel
Then screw it in until only a little is protruding, place it into the slot on the back of the extension and tighten. You can then screw the tightening bolt into the bottom of the bracket and repeat for the next slot in the back of the extension.
If you cannot tighten the extension sufficiently because the wheel just keeps on turning, it's because the bolt head is turning inside the body of the extension lead.
I have found a good solution to this is to carefully place a little superglue on the back of the bolt's button head. Fasten the bracket to the extension as above and then set it aside to dry fully. You should then be able to tighten the bracket further.
