Description

Own a piece of aviation history with this detailed, easy-to-assemble model of the legendary F-117 Nighthawk stealth aircraft. Designed for a perfect snap-fit, no glue is needed! Just print, assemble, and display.
Immerse yourself in the history of one of the most revolutionary aircraft ever built. The F-117 Nighthawk, secretly developed by Lockheed's legendary Skunk Works division, was the world's first operational aircraft designed around stealth technology. Its radical design, composed of flat, angled surfaces, was a brilliant engineering solution to deflect radar waves and make it virtually invisible to enemy detection, reducing its radar signature to the size of a marble.

During its classified years, it was known internally as "the Asset". The F-117 was unveiled to the world during the 1991 Gulf War, where it flew approximately 1,300 sorties and hit 1,600 high-value targets with astonishing precision, cementing its legendary status. This model captures the essence of that enigmatic and technologically advanced machine.

Printing and Assembly Instructions

To ensure a successful print and assembly, the following settings are recommended.

  • Recommended Print Settings:
    • Material: Matte Black PLA is ideal for an authentic stealth look.
    • Layer Height: 0.16 mm for a good balance between detail and print time.
    • Supports: Needed only for the main fuselage. Tree-style supports are recommended for easy removal.
    • Infill: 15% is sufficient for a display model.
  • Assembly Guide:
    1. Print all the parts included in the file.
    2. Carefully remove the supports from the fuselage.
    3. Insert the vertical stabilizers into the corresponding slots on the main body until they click into place.
    4. Place the assembled aircraft on the display stand.

If you feel like printing it, I would greatly appreciate a 5-star rating, a comment, and, if possible, a photo of your own print. Your support is key to helping the model gain more visibility!

Thanks in advance for your help!
