Description

Please enjoy my piano student's guide for note names and staff notation! Printing both will provide the student with a guide a little over an octave in each direction from middle C. These should fit over most piano keys, and if not I have included the STEP files for alteration (perhaps for older or non-conventional pianos)

These rest pretty evenly over the keys and make little noise while using the piano. If desired, small pieces of felt or fabric can be glued to the bottoms to facilitate more silent usage

For best results, print with AMS at 0.16 layer height. For an even cleaner print, you can do 0.08mm layer height with a 0.2mm nozzle, but be aware this significantly increases print time and filament usage due to the increased amount of color changes. That said, a 0.2mm layer height would probably also work, but the resolution of the notes and lettering goes down quite a bit.

Lastly, if you don't have AMS, you could always print in a single color and use a marker or paint brush to color the lettering since it is raised from the surface. Also, unlike AMS, there is no additional filament needed for smaller layer heights, only little time lost. So it makes sense to do smaller layer heights with a single color.

Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, and happy printing!
