Description
I had arround a solar powered water pump kit and I wanted to make some sort of fun fountain so I come up to the idea of replicate one of my favourite pokemons, Magikarp.
Since the pump is solar powered I can place it on my terrace to enjoy the relaxing sound of the water falling off his mouth
Here is a link to a pump similar to mine at Aliexpress: https://aliexpress.com/item/1005009165695880.html
Here also an usb fitting version US https://a.co/d/638iPF0

Yes, it Splashes a bit, but at the end it's a Magikarp. If you want to get rid of the tiny water sprite I also provide a version of the pot with bigger volume to handle thouse annoyances.
Two main projects are provided, one assembled and one splitted to get rid of unecessary waste of fillament, but you will need to glue it yourself, the one in the picures comes from the glued splitted one.
The assembly is simple, just add the pump at the bottom and insert on the hole a piece of pipe, no need to get to the top (the hole is 10mm diameter, it's ok if the pipe is loose, we want more splash than jet).
Fill the pot with water and the magic will start. If you print the big reservoir it can also be handy to provide fresh water to your cat.
Design insights. The tongue and mouth cavity of the model are meant to spread the water and create turbulence, avoiding being pushed outside the pot. This adds even more silliness to the KoiKing, just looks like he is not even able to push the water
Extra. Take a look a it flowing!
