Introduction

This adapter plate adds two Peak Design Anchors to your Capture Clip v3 allowing you to attach it to other accessories, e.g. Peak Design Slide strap. This solution is sleek and results in the ultimate strength because the anchors loop around each of the metal screw bosses.

Notes:

• In the default profiles, I have ironing enabled which gives a smoother surface for insertion of the Anchor cords and a smoother top surface in general. You can disable this if your top layers are smoot enough and you need to print faster.

• Although this model can also act as a 4mm spacer, if you just need a thin spacer to prevent the bolts from digging into your body when mounted on thin straps, this 2mm spacer is for you: https://makerworld.com/en/models/456340-peak-design-capture-v3-spacer. 

Usage

1. Print the Anchor Adapter.

2. Insert an Anchor in each of the slots from the top.

3. Spread the end of the anchor cords into a circular shape large enough for the screw boss.

4. Disassemble the two halves of the Peak Design Capture clip by loosening & removing the thumb screws or bolts.

5. Carefully press the Capture Clip back plate onto the adapter.

6. Ensure both Anchor cords wrap around the screw bosses. 

7. Re-attach the main body of the Capture Clip using the thumb screws or bolts.

8. Now you're ready to use your Capture clip in a whole new way!

4mm vs 7mm

Choose between the lower-profile 4mm variant for the standard-length thumb screws or the thicker-profile 7mm variant for the longer hex bolts.
