Pixel Signs, 5x5 Character

The little mini VMS traffic message board seemed to be quite useful for writing fun messages, so here's something a little more generic. 

 

Each character on the pixel sign is composed of a 5x5 physical “pixel” array that can be configured to say any short message or extra character. Took a ton of test prints to get the fit right, but the pixels are pressed in from the front or popped out from the back. 

 

I made two types of holders, one that sits nicely on a desktop / flat surface that can sit either at 60 degrees -or- 30 degrees and a wall holder that includes screw holes and zip tie slots. 

 

I also made a 5x7 but it's quite large, if there's interest let me know and I'll add that print profile.
