Description
Fun print to add some colour to your OG Switch, and maybe even to match your Switch NES controller. Styled on the legendary Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), this is a simple to print dock cover, that sits in place.
I originally made this for the Switch 2 dock, but was asked if I could replicate for original switch, so here it is :) - LED cutout added on this model though, which aligns when I tested it plugged in to our original switch.
Boost MeIf you like this print, please consider a boost as a way of supporting me on here.I've limited this to three colours, red, black and grey. You could use white if you don't have grey, but the look won't be as good.
As per the print profile, print this facedown, preferably on a textured PEI plate for the best results.
As with any multi colour print, I would personally recommend watching the first layer(s) going down, to make sure no dark colour filament strands accidentally get left on the plate before the other colours get laid on top (swiping them away if they do!), once the first few are done, you can leave it to finish printing. Nothing to do with this print or profile, just a sensible thing to do to ensure clean looking prints without colour contamination.
No assembly as such, this just sits in place on your stationary OG Switch dock. It's made to not be super tight, to avoid adding any scratches.
