Description
So you want small parts bin that barely uses any filament, has a locking lid, and prints really fast? Well obviously you do, you clicked on this model!
If you want an incredibly rugged and super durable bin that can withstand an explosion, this isn't the model for you. This model is for people who want the most storage for the least amount of filament. For most people this bin should be durable enough.
Boost MeEven though my models use less material, a lot of the times they take more time to design. Every gram of plastic has to go to good use, every mechanism must be simplified. If I saved you some filament and print time then feel free to boost!
It doesn't get easier than this. Just muscle the lid onto the rails, as shown in the picture below. Make sure the finger handle is going in the same way as the picture. Reversing it won't work. Once it's in there it'll be secure. It won't come out on it's own during normal use. You'll have to really muscle it back out to remove it.
USE MY PRINT PROFILES IF POSSIBLE! Or at least copy them the best you can. They have a lot of tweaks and these models where made specifically with my print settings in mind, like layer height, layer width, bottom layers, etc.
This bin was made for 0.36 layer height and 0.82 layer width. A 0.8mm nozzle is recommended since you can print this with one wall, making it super fast to print.
Wall Generator: Arachne
A 0.4 nozzle will work but 0.8 is recommended for really fast prints. For 0.4 nozzles use 0.16 layer height.
Wall Generator: Arachne
As you see in the pictures, these are stackable. The wider bins are the same size as 2 of the normal bins next to each other, so you can stack the wide bins on top of the normal bins. Stacking the normal bins on top of the wide bins is possible, but is a little finicky and not very secure.
