Dual PS5 controller holder V2

This is the upgraded version of the Dual PS5 controller holder, which is more detailed than the V1.

 

It is simple controller holder which, in combination of white and black color, looks nice next to the Playstation 5 console.

For the best look, as it is on the photo, I recommend printing the black parts on textured PEI plate, and white parts on smooth PEI plate. 

With this combination you get textured side plates of the holder, just like the textured plates on the PS5 console.

Improvements:

1. It is higher

   On the V1 there was hard to place on or take off the lower controller from the holder. On V2 this is a lot easier.

    

2. Radius on the contact edge

   The edge where the controller touches the holder has radius, so it can not get damaged.

    

3. Thinner PS sign

   The side plates does not have the cutout all the way, so the PS sign can not fall inside of the holder.

    

4. Cutout for cable

   On V1 there was no way to charge the lower controller. V2 has the cutout so you can charge it.

    

   Difference between V1 and V2:

Material and printing parameters:

I recommend using PETG

Because of the shape, holder is strong and printing with 0,2 layer height and 15% infill gets good result.

Bill of materials:

• 1x side plate right (black)
• 1x side plate left (black)
• 1x PS5 text (black)
• 1x main part (white)
• 2x PS sign (white)

Assembly:

The parts are easy to assemble. There is no need of using glue, but if you want you can glue it together.

 

If you have a special wish to have your name or any other text on the holder, contact me and I will replace the PS5 text with it.
