Description

I couldn't find a good vertical hanging Milwaukee M18 battery holder for my toolbox, so I made one! 12 revisions and 2 prototypes later, I arrived at this solution. My battery storage rack holds 3 batteries per row and can be added to as needed to hold more batteries.

This battery rack is designed from the ground up for FDM printers with NO SUPPORT NEEDED at 0.16mm layer height or smaller.

All batteries are accessible individually without having to move other batteries. Supports the biggest M18 12.0 batteries, including the Forge M18 batteries and all other standard sizes that Milwaukee has released up until this point.

The connections between the sections are designed to be a very tight fit. Dropping batteries on the ground isn't great for them, right? Using some thin CA glue in the connections will make them permanent.

I have uploaded a PLA profile, which I've found to be fine for holding 9 batteries in a warmish garage, but let me know if ABS/ASA, PETG, or Nylon profiles are of interest to you so I can print test pieces and refine the fit for other materials.

Though I originally designed this holder to hook over a toolbox top lip, I have also added mounts for countersink fasteners and slot mounts specifically for the Snap-On toolbox slot and hole rear mounting system in their hutches.

If you like it, please consider the boost! I appreciate your help in supporting my modeling and printing adventures!
