ÉDITION ZKULL - N°2 WINTER URBAN

Discover Winter Urban, the second release in the ZKULL Edition series a modular figurine line inspired by urban culture and art toys. Just like the concept behind ZKULL, the goal is simple: avoid AMS and reduce filament waste with multi-part assemblies, giving you full freedom to choose your own colors using any single-extruder printer no purge tower, no forced material swaps.

Each piece is designed to be easy to print, assemble, and customize to match your personal style. Winter Urban brings a bold winter streetwear vibe puffer jacket, beanie, and Timberland boots while keeping the iconic ZKULL silhouette intact.

More ZKULL Edition releases are coming soon, and I’d love to hear your ideas. Can’t wait to see your prints!

Winter Urban

"He was born in the icy breath of the boulevards, where mist blends with neon light. His puffer jacket is a soft armor against the cold, the beanie keeps his thoughts hidden, and his Timberlands strike the frozen pavement like a deep bass line echoing through the night.

In the frosted windows, his reflection slides and vanishes. He doesn’t fight the winter, he becomes part of it. Each step leaves a sharp trace, like a fleeting signature written on asphalt.

His actions are simple, almost invisible: picking up what the wind has knocked down, shielding a fragile spark, restoring order where chaos lingers. Where others see winter as a wall, he turns it into a silent playground.

And when the snow begins to fall, he fades into the scene, a fluid silhouette moving between streetlights and halos. North Face Urban doesn’t resist the season, he becomes its rhythm, discreet yet unbreakable."

Technical Description

Summary
Model designed in multiple parts and assembled with connectors. The pieces hold together by pressure without glue if tolerances are adapted to the material and the calibration of your printer. The provided files already include optimized positions (for supports and orientation). Do not change the position of the parts unless you know exactly what you are doing.

Printing Instructions
Keep the provided settings: the BambuLab / Bambu Studio profiles included in the archive have been tested for this model, you can use them as they are for reliable printing.

Orientation & Supports: the parts are positioned in the files to minimize supports and simplify post-processing. Do not globally reorient the parts; if you modify one, check the impact on the supports.

Assembly

The assembly process is fairly straightforward. For the beanie, I recommend lowering it down to eye level, you will feel a firm and precise lock around the skull. Start by placing the front of the cap at the level of the skull’s eyebrows, then press firmly on the back of the cap to clip it onto the skull. The cap should reach the level of the ears on the sides. Don’t hesitate to apply slight pressure to ensure a secure fit (see the reference image for the final result).

The Nike logo on the beanie requires a bit more dexterity: applying a very small drop of glue is recommended to guarantee long-term stability.

Finally, I strongly suggest keeping the provided .3MF file settings. The included BambuLab print profiles are already configured and optimized to ensure a perfect fit between the parts and proper connector tolerances.

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm (0.12 for fine details)
  • Perimeters (walls): 2–3
  • Infill: 10–20% (can be increased for load-bearing parts)
  • Top/Bottom: 4 layers
  • Supports: use the provided file orientation Bambu Studio / the included profiles handle supports correctly
  • Bed adhesion: skirt if contact surfaces are small
  • Temperatures: keep profile values or calibrate according to your filament

Additional Note on Gluing

Each part can be glued for improved long-term stability, or left unglued if you prefer swapping pieces in different colors. However, it is strongly recommended to glue the black eye inserts and the nose, as these are the only parts without tolerances designed for friction fit.

Specific Notes & Best Practices

  • Tolerances vary depending on filament: always test on the target printer.
  • Do not glue immediately: dry-fit first to allow adjustments and color changes.
  • Naming: keep the part names/positions as provided in the file (makes reassembly and support easier).
