Sony XAVAX1000 Car Stereo Cover

I have an aftermarket Sony XAVAX1000 car stereo that I added to my car to enable CarPlay. Unfortunately, the dimming function was not compatible with my car, so it is too bright at night. I created this light blocking cover to block the screen while driving. Obviously, features such as turn-by-turn navigation won't be visible when this is in place, but I found it reduced eye strain and stress when driving around familiar places at night. It is easy to slip on or off, and allows access to all the normal buttons/ports on the car stereo. It is a snug fit around the perimeter of the unit, and has a slightly longer flange on top that slips between the stereo and the DIN enclosure. It has helped my night driving significantly and hope it can help you too!
