As shown in the published photos, the SmartSwan works as intended when printed and assembled correctly. Please apply controlled, firm pressure during assembly to ensure proper fit and performance.
If any segments break during assembly, it is most likely due to insufficient printer calibration or dimensional inaccuracy, not the model itself.
💡 Tip: Assembling the segments while they are still slightly warm (right after printing) can help — the material is a bit more elastic and easier to fit together.

The SmartSwan is a versatile smartphone holder designed with flexibility, stability, and elegance in mind. Composed of 20 modular segments, the neck can be extended or reduced according to your needs, and even shaped into gentle curves or an S-curve for optimal viewing angles.

The table clamp features two grooves that allow for either horizontal or vertical alignment. Depending on your preferred orientation, insert the first segment into the desired groove. Assembly requires careful, firm pressure—position the segment and press the clamp against the table with controlled force.

The holder itself is a sliding attachment that connects to the last segment, while two elastic bands securely grip your smartphone. The segments are recommended to be printed in PETG due to its flexibility and durability. They are designed to fit tightly together, ensuring maximum stability. During assembly, segments should be connected with care but firm pressure to maintain the integrity of the structure.

The dimensions and fit have been tested on a Bambu X1C, and while the SmartSwan can hold a wide range of smartphones, heavy devices should be positioned carefully—avoid extreme bending, and consider adjusting the number of segments or using a slight S-curve to maintain balance. The center of gravity should stay close to the clamp to ensure stability at all times.
