Description
A heat shield designed to stop hot air in the Creality Space Pi X4 and X4L from blowing directly onto the filament spools while drying.
I found DJR Engineering's heat shield on Makerworld. But it was too flimsy for me, though.
So I designed my own from scratch. But I was inspired by him, though ;)
I'm offering two versions here: one standard and one with a cutout for my filament spool guide.
The heat shield is easily attached with two M3x10 screws. These are simply inserted to anchor the shield.
You can also use screws that cut slightly into the plastic mesh. These should be 3,5mm or 4mm thick.
The holes in the shield can easily be drilled to the desired size.
I also recommend installing my filament spool guide. This must be clipped in first. Only then can the heat shield be inserted.
