🖨️ Print Orientation Recommendation For best results, this model should be printed standing upright (vertical orientation). This minimizes support usage and ensures clean battery slots. The only support needed is on the front side, where the batteries are inserted—making it a fast and efficient print even on basic setups.

 

🧵 Efficient & Eco-Friendly Print This model is designed to use minimal tree supports and less than 100g of filament, making it both fast and material-efficient to print. Perfect for makers who value clean prints, low waste, and optimized performance without sacrificing functionality.

 

⚠️ Note on AA Battery Fit In rare cases—typically when storing 15 or more AA batteries—some batteries may get slightly stuck due to tight stacking. However, the front-facing design provides ample space to gently push them loose without tools or hassle. This doesn’t affect functionality and is easy to manage during use.

💡 Coming Soon—Maybe! If this battery box design gains traction, I’ll release a custom adapter to mount it directly on the IKEA Skådis pegboard (last image).
