RUDE/Robak V2 RC Car - D3542 | 80mm Shocks

Update 11.03.2026 - fixed Right part of the chassis and the rear left arm - there were some incosistancies in between the left and right arms:

Update to RUDE - 09.2025

I had some of the non-printed components available in my storage so decided to give it a try to remodel the things to build a car with the things I already got.
It came out really nice - its fast and strong.

I have remodel the tower to lower its screw holes for shocks so they can adapt to 80mm shocks which i had. Then I had to remodel the arms also to move the screw mounting holes for shocks a bit up.
Motor in original Robak v2 was having the shaft (pin) is at the front of the motor, while D3542 is longer and thicker, built to handle higher loads and located on the back of the motor, therefore the mounting had to change.
Whole chassis, motorplate and topdeck has been remodeled by me to adjust the mounting for the new motor.

Also the screw holes for the battery changed as there is Lipo 3s 3400mah being used.

It is working really good, its fast and durable.

Thanks to the smaller shocks and towers being lower it is able to drive even when turned upside down :D

Update - 09.2025 - switch to RUDE for more durability.

I have upgraded the whole model to RUDE by:

• changing the chassis to include 2x 5mm rod inside
• adding support with bearing for the motor bolt in the chassis, which will allow the car to go at super high speeds without the risk of the gears coming apart.
• changing the models of: chassis, arms, bellcrank, braces and topdeck from Robak to RUDE

2x 350mm M5 rods
1x MR105RS 5X10X4 mm Bearing
Hard TPU, Nylon or PC for the whole car
Metal Steering Cub Hub Carrier Set

PS - Please be informed that due to the alignment of the motor the 5mm rod on the motor side needs to be cut into 2 pieces and there should be NO rod underneath the motor.

Now the whole car seems to be indestructible.
