Description
After printing 4 different versions of this, which all required a significant amount of support, I decided it was ridiculous that this was so poorly designed for printing. I have made the top flat so it can be printed with the top side on the build plate. I also extended the light tubes and changed the size of the holes so that clear filament can be inserted from the back side, this acts like a fibre optic cable and directs the light to the top surface very clearly (you may need to clear the holes with a drill-bit if your hole settings are not dialed in). Due to the very fine text used by BTT, I suggest you print with a .2mm nozzle, .4 works, but it's not very detailed (as seen in the photo of the one I printed).
The only support required is on the 2 screw holes at the ends.
I printed with PETG, but I'm sure PLA would be just fine.
Happy Printing :)
