Printing Instructions:
For the magnetic plexiglass cover, embed 5x5mm cube magnets during printing.
Stop the print at layer 23 to insert the magnet before continuing. Check polarity!
The print will stop 3 times to add additional 5x2mm round magnets at the 3 levels to allow for magnetised models.
The print is split into two parts to fit the A1 Mini – they self-align and can be easily glued together.
Basing Tips for Best Results:
Mask the edges with tape before painting to prevent paint from rubbing off on your plexiglass cover.Â
Use additional basing materials (ruins, plants, etc.), but keep it subtle to avoid overshadowing your models.
Always use a good primer to ensure proper paint adhesion to PLA.
