Description
PLEASE NOTE
These have very tight lids, and each bottom connection fits very snug into the top of the connecting bin. They are meant to be tight. I made them that way so that I did not have to worry about the lids popping off when moving them around, or the bins from coming apart. The holes in the lid are small enough to keep most things from falling out.
01-30-2026 Updates
Update #1: Added print profile for platform clips, for displaying what is inside the bin. Five different shapes!
Update #2: Also added clips for holding bins together.
Upgrade your organization with this newly improved hexagon-shaped interlocking display bin—redesigned to print without supports! This file creates a sturdy bin with a snap-fit locking lid to keep contents secure.
The modular hexagon profile lets you print multiple bins and arrange them together into eye-catching honeycomb layouts—perfect for:
New version works with old version! No worries about wasted filament, both versions work together with the same interlocking design. Lid works with both versions as well. Everything is the same except for the bottom ledge redesign at an angle to not need supports while printing.
Ideal for market vendors, convention displays, or home studios, these bins pack neatly into a tote for effortless transport and storage.
From my original model listing:
“These bins conveniently connect together for easy storage, however, you will want to test how many you wish to stack to see how your final prints will hold up. Personally, I only stack five at a time, and they fit really well into the large storage containers I use to transport my product. You can see in the photos above how I stack and store them.
There are other hex bins out there that are just as useful and great files, but I couldn't find one that fit my need for easy set up and take down. I don't want to have to fill each bin every time I set up my market booth, so making these stack and lock together with locking lids was the only option for me."
Riser stands for these bins can be found in a separate listing in my profile! https://makerworld.com/en/models/1800989-new-riser-stands-for-hexagon-display-bins#profileId-1920543
