Description

Due to the constraints of using widely available M3 hardware the roller produces large rolls. roughly 9mm OD.

The center hole was left open on both sides so that the user can decide what side to have the turning wheel.
Compatible with 78mm rolling paper like RAW Black. if using RAW Black filter tips I found 2 combined created a fitting size.

Roller is functional but I feel it can be improved. I intend to make a second version with smaller hardware and smaller resin printed Gears allowing for a more traditional roll size and true portability.

Additional Materials:
13-M3x10 button head screws
2x 1/8in roll pins, (Optionally can be replaced with 2x additional M3x10 button head screws)

Printed Materials:
3x Tall9Tspurgear
3x 9Tspurgear
1x FR8mmBody
1x sliderPlug
1x ringgear
1x FRLid
6x FR_IdleRollerTextured

I do not recommend using the smooth rollers as they tend not to grip the material well.
They have been included for the sake of completeness and to make iterating easier.

Instructions:

For the gears to mesh properly the small gears and small gears with a stand off need to be alternated, it should not matter where but there should be 3 of each and staggered so that the small gears do not interact with each other.

the bolts for the gears go from the outside in and bite on the rollers as the holes are undersized. tighten them to the point there is little to no play but the rollers can still operate smoothly,

once all the rollers are installed with a bolt on both ends and the gears alternating the center post for the outer ring gear/knob can be installed, the knob needs to be installed at the same time. for this reason the knob has a hexagonal section that should mesh with the post, this allows you to hold it from spinning while tightening the bolt.
this bolt is opposite to the rest, it should start inside the roller and point out to thread into the center post.

Hopefully this is clear enough for all of you I am grateful for all the Downloads and likes. if there is additional interest / need. I can make a Video for those of us visual learners.
