Surface textures make signs look more professional, even in one color. Use the pre-made parametric patterns to create your own custom business plates or any stylish sign.
1) Set your plate
- Plate width / height / thickness (mm) – overall size
- Corner style – simple / rounded / chamfered
- Corner size (mm) – radius or chamfer size
2) Choose a texture
- Texture type – none / tetra / iso-cubes / lozenge / rings / waves
- Texture height (mm) – how tall the texture (and border) is
- Pattern size (mm) – spacing/scale of the pattern (bigger = coarser)
- Border margin (mm) – frame width around the edge (same height as texture)
Notes
- Iso-cubes: crisp, geometric
- Rings: concentric triangular ridges from the top-right corner
- Waves: 45° diagonal ridges (bottom-left → top-right)
- Tetra / Lozenge: faceted, modern surfaces
3) Add mounting tabs (optional)
- Tabs – none / top center / two on top / two on sides
- Hole Ø (mm) – screw hole size
- Wall thickness (mm) – material around the hole
- Gap (mm) – space between tab and the plate edge
- Two-tab offset (mm) – spacing for the two-tab options
4) Add text (1–4 blocks)
- Text count – how many text blocks to show
For each Text #1–#4: - String – what it says
- Font & Style – choose from common fonts (e.g., Poppins, Orbitron)
- Size (mm) – font size
- Height (mm) – extrusion height
- Align X / Align Y – left/center/right & bottom/center/top
- Margin X / Margin Y (mm) – distance from edges based on alignment
5) Quality & separation (for clean slicing)
- Curve quality – higher = smoother circles/curves
- XY separation (mm) – tiny clearance between the geometry of the text and texture for clean printing results
