Modern Tanto Knife

This is my Modern Tanto 9" prop knife with a modern, tactical-inspired design. It features a straight tanto-style blade profile paired with a minimalist handle pinned with a slotted pin for mechanical connection. The handle is shaped for a firm grip, with a flat pommel end that includes a hole for attaching a lanyard or strap.

The model is intended as a functional prop — The blade and handle geometry make it strong enough for cosplay, display, or theatrical use, while still being lightweight and easy to print. Its clean, futuristic style fits well for costumes, sci-fi builds, or stage props as well as a decoration piece!

• Cosplay and costume props
• Stage or film production (safe with proper handling)
• Display piece or collector’s item
• Mockup for proper knifemaking

Printing Notes:

• Can be printed in PLA, PETG, ABS, etc.
• Model is separated for multi-material/color printing.
  • Handle can be split into objects for multicolor without AMS
• Light sanding and painting can enhance realism.
• Not intended as a real knife or cutting tool.
• If parts are too loose (depending on personal printer tolerance), adhesive can be applied to solidify the model.
• All pieces fit on most print bed sizes.
