Description
Designed for renters who can’t drill into their walls but still need a solid place to create.
The illustration does most of the talking, yet a few details are worth spelling out. The mount fits pegboards with the standard 1-inch hole spacing and a thickness of 5 mm. Because rigidity is the goal, keep the holder-jaw dimensions as close to the tabletop thickness as possible. I have modeled a variety of sizes, and the parametric Fusion 360 integration lets you adjust any parameter to suit your setup.
A printable TPU anti-slip pad is included, though my tests show little difference with or without it. If you want maximum stiffness, print the version without the bottom jaw and screw the holder directly into your desk; both vertical and horizontal orientations are available. The mounting holes are 8 mm in diameter with a 20 mm outer rim.
To protect the wall, I also modeled a spacer that keeps the board from rubbing—print it in a color that matches the paint of the wall to keep the landlord happy. For hardware, I recommend M4×12 mm screws paired with M4×15×1 mm washers, which you can also print.
Happy printing!
