Description
We have a few of these Nest cams around the house and they're great cameras but the stand is no good, they're hard to position in the right spot and just weird so I designed these..
The articulating mount has several different configurations depending on your needs. You can use just the mount and base or any of the extensions in between. The camera mount twists into the bottom of the camera like the mounting piece that comes with the camera. You have to untwist the Nest piece to install this one. There are two different bases, one is turned 90 degrees and the other isn't.. You can attach the bases vertically or horizontally as needed. There's also three extensions, one is long, one is turned 90 degrees and the other is normal? lol
I originally designed this system for my father in law's solar security lights so if you have the same type you can leave off the locking camera mount piece and it will work with your lights as well!
I made these to work with M5 bolts but they are an exact fit and the nuts are hard to press in bare handed, but I did, M4 nuts and bolts work perfectly, just a little loose. I didn't print a couple of the parts (90 degree base and the long extension) but you get the idea.. They're pictured in the screenshot.
Thanks for looking!
