SmoothRoll Cling Film Dispenser is a fully 3d-printed dispenser for ClingWrap

 

You will need a cutter from the one of the cardboard-boxes you get at the convenience store.

Features:
Fully 3d-printed axial roller bearings at each end for smooth dispensing

Made for 30cm rolls

Adjustable width

Snap-fit box for quick assembly

End lids can either be glued or bolted using M3x16mm screws

Rolls can be up to 55mm in diameter

 

Printing

I printed the part in PLA and it worked fine, however PETG would probably be more suitable

All the parts are on the same plate so it can be made in a single print. 

I personally prefer the box in black and bearings in white.

 

Assembly instructions:

Assemble 12 rollers in alternate direction in the bearing base and press the bearing cone in place.

 

Press the two halves of the box section firmly together

 

Insert the bearing assembly into the box and screw in the knurled handle for each side

 

Either glue or screw on the end lids with M3x16mm screws.
