✨ Optimus Prime – Full Assembly & Customizable Model

Hi everyone, today's model is modular and customizable Optimus Prime from Transformer Movie. Each part is separated, allowing you to print, paint, and assemble with ease, while also offering multiple display modes.

🔹 Features

1. Modular Part Structure
   • Every component can be printed individually and assembled together.
   • Weapons are detachable, giving you freedom to display in different styles.
   • Since the model is divided into separate parts, painting is much easier and more precise.
2. Easy Assembly 

   • Assembly is very straight-forward with holes and matching joints [Some parts may require to be glued for stability]

3. Flexible Customization
   • Mix and match different parts like wings, engine, and shield to create your own version of Optimus Prime.
   • Multiple posing and display options make this model stand out on any shelf.

🔹 Multiple Display Modes 

This Optimus Prime can be displayed in various distinct modes, depending on how you choose to assemble the parts:

 

 

1. Basic Mode  

 

• Only the body parts assembled, without any weapons or wings.

• A simple and clean display, perfect for showing off the base model or for painting experiments.

   

2. Dual Weapon Mode

• Both hands equipped with blaster and machinegun (or one in each hand).

• Highlights Optimus Prime in a combat stance

   

3. Shield + Weapon Mode

• One arm mounts the shield, while the other holds the blaster
• Balanced look that combines both defense and offense.
• The shield can be hung on to the joint slot on its own(Located front side of the arm - different from Machinegun slot). If you are fixed on your pose with shield or intend to move around with the model, you can glue this part for stability

4. Wing Mode

• Wings attached to both sides.
• Can be displayed on its own, or with additional weapons and shield if desired.

• Maintains balance without extra support.

   

5. Full Battle Mode (Restrictions*)

• Wings and engine tanks attached for the ultimate battle-ready form.
• Requires both hands to be equipped 
• Additional front balance support is necessary (You can place the shield like in the image to stabilize the model). Optionally, you can put some weight to the foot or weapon parts and mount sheild to the back of the model 
• The most powerful and dramatic version of the model, showcasing its full loadout.

🎨 Painting Process (My Version)

For my painted version, I started with a steel base coat to give the figure a solid metallic foundation.

• Main colors were layered on top of the steel base -  Red / Metallic Blue
• Applied Citadel Nuln Oil and Vallejo Light Rust Wash to create worn & weathering effects.
• Finished off with Satin Varnish
• The final look achieves a battle-worn, realistic finish 

Size & Scaling

• When fully assembled using the provided print profiles, the model stands at around 35 cm tall, making it an impressive display piece.
• All uploaded parts are designed in the same scale, so you can easily scale down (or up) proportionally in your slicer to print the model at any size you prefer.
