Created a few masks for the Halloween contest!  Check out all my masks!  New and old!  Hope you enjoy!

Here are two mask that fit the traditional Halloween holiday theme. There are multiple varieties of each with different parents and fill.

The ones that are solid are easier to print but use more filament.  The Voronoi ones (with the holes) are much mor delicate and require you to take your time removing from the bed and taking off the supports.  Especially if you try to print with a silk PLA.  I find them way more brittle than basic PLA.  I printed in Silk PLA, PLA, PETG and even TPU.  For TPU I recommend you feed the filament directly into the extruder by removing the top glass and using spool mount that bridges the opening.  I find for longer prints I have much more success with this method!  Hate to go 10 hours in and then the TPU stops extruding!

I recommend measuring the width of your face and then go a little smaller.  Use the measure tool (little ruler, top right side) in Bambu Studio to determine the width of the mask.  Again, I find many of these fit nice when printed a little smaller than you think as they confirm to the face, but you measure and decide.  If you need to make them larger than I have, you will have to change their orientation in the slicer (or find a friend with a H2 printer!).

I would recommend using elastic strings with metal ends (https://a.co/d/9g88VL0) or a Velcro band (https://a.co/d/0QSiwvt or https://a.co/d/fSAFCcf) to attach to your head.   You can search both of these on Amazon and find many options that fit your desired method.  And some masks have holes in them, but some are without, as when I scaled the masks it also scaled the holes.  I recommend placing your own holes right in Bambu Studio using the “add negative feature” tool when you right click on one of the models.  I included directions below (from the internet) on how to quickly add the holes.  You can also search YouTube or just ask me for help!

Step-by-Step Guide to “Add Negative Part”

  1. Open Bambu Studio: and load your 3D model.

  2. Select: the part of your model you want to modify.

  3. Right-click: on the selected model.

  4. In the context menu, choose "Add Negative Part".

  5. From the options that appear, select the Cylinder primitive.

  6. Adjust: the cylinder's position, size, and orientation to overlap the specific part of the model you wish to remove or alter.

  7. Click the "Slice" button to see the change. The negative cylinder will now be subtracted from the original model, creating a hole or indent.
