Christmas Modern Tealight Town (for use with 1 or 3 LED tealights)

UPDATE 19TH JAN 2023: A new version has been uploaded.
I fixed some bugs with the model, and I've added extra supports, for example to one of the internal arcs inside of the model - it was needed. The last one could have been solved in another way, but then it would obstruct the light and I didn't want that.

----------------------

IF YOU LIKE THIS MODEL, CONSIDER ALSO DOWNLOADING OTHER MODELS OF MINE: Christmas Lantern - Shadow Style, 3 different motifs in one, for LED/electric tea candle and Christmas Lantern Box with 9 different sides / motifs, for LED/electric tea candle

SIZE

20 cm long, 8 cm deep, and 20 cm high.

If you want to print the model on Prusa MINI (18cm) or any other printer with a heatbed's size smaller than 20cm, use "Modern Tealight Town - no placeholders for the tea lights.3mf" and size it down to the max size your heatbed allows you to.

SETTINGS / PRINTING

Check your printer and print material to see how long of a bridge you can print without supports. Feel free to print “SUPPORT-TESTER.3mf” first to ensure that your printer can handle supports flawlessly before you print the whole model. If there are issues with the top part of the windows, adjust the speed for the bridges accordingly (from 25m/s down to half or even slower).
The big opening on the back and the long window on the top right side definitely require support enabled. Those are already enforced in the 3MF files.
Inside the model, support is needed in only 1 place (otherwise it would obstruct the light and I didn't want that).

Filament: PLA or PETG (as pictured in the photo)
Print: 0.2mm
Nozzle: 0.4mm
Support: See above
Brim: Not needed
Infill: 15%
Perimeters: See under Extra Notes

DISPLAY

The model can be used with either 1 or 3 LED tealights.

The best effect is achieved when the model is placed at least 5-10cm away from the walls.
It is also advisable to place the model on a reflective surface, like glass, a metal sheet, or a high gloss table.

EXTRA NOTES

The model's 3mm thick walls are there for a reason - they should provide enough thickness to ensure that light doesn't emit through the walls. If you really want to ensure that the light isn't coming through the walls (to minimize walls' transparency), set the perimeters from 2 to 3.
I would definitely go with 3 or maybe even 4 layers (the cover image of this model is printed with only 2 layers).

LED TEA CANDLE

Do NOT use a real candle. Just don't :)
Use a LED candle - you can buy these for very cheap at the nearest IKEA, dollar store, or mall.

I've used a LED tea candle from Uyuni Lightning as it mimics the flame of the candle in a very nice and pleasant way by glowing up and down randomly. I can also turn it on and off with a remote, or it can be set to light for 6h period at a specific time of the day. It's really great!
Dimensions: H: 5 x Ø 4 cm.
Light source: 1 x CR2450 battery

Happy Printing!
