Description
My wife has so many different types of teas, and they are all stacked in odd shaped boxes, packs, films, … they take up so much space! So I made this simple stackable pull-out tray model. Now they are all nice and organised and we can stack many onto each other in the tea shelf! But of course this can be used to hold any type of small object.
This model is parametric, but unfortunately I designed it in Shapr3D, which has its own parametric history and it cannot be converted to an open scad parametric model. I can however resize it and upload different dimensions on request.
The outer shell and the inner tray are printed vertically on purpose. So that the gentle fillet around the frontal face can be preserved. Please do not reorient these objects! Unless you are willing to sacrifice the clean round edges for potentially sagging layers.
Slot four 6x2 magnets into the provided holes, gluing them with clear super-glue. The first pair of holes is located at the front of the pull-out tray. The second pair of holes is on the rear face of the handle. The magnets will allow you to install the handle to easily pull out the tray.
The rear panel of the sliding tray should simply snap into place without much force. You can apply the same kind of glue here as well if you prefer.
