Watch Rest Desk Base - Seiko

This project features a custom-designed display and rest base specifically made for the Seiko 5 Sports GMT watch.
It provides a secure and elegant place to rest your timepiece when it’s not on your wrist, protecting it from scratches and keeping it neatly displayed.

Design Overview

The base consists of two main components, each optimized for both function and aesthetics:

• Rigid white ABS base, 3D printed with a 0.2 mm layer height on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer.
  This part provides a solid and precise structure with a clean, modern look.
  The inner surface is contoured to accommodate the watch case comfortably and ensure a stable resting position.
• Flexible black TPU insert, featuring the Seiko logo and a perforated pattern that enhances grip and cushioning.
  The soft rubber texture prevents scratches on the watch case and bracelet while adding a premium visual contrast.

Purpose

Designed as a safe and stylish resting surface, this base is perfect for:

• Desk setups
• Nightstands
• Watch display shelves or vitrines

It combines mechanical precision with minimalistic design — ideal for collectors who appreciate both engineering detail and aesthetic harmony.
