Personalizable Glass Nametag (e.g. for a wedding)

This is a personalizable name tag with a Heart-Clip attached to it so that you can clip it onto a Glass or similar.

 

You can use the Model Maker of Makerworld to change the name to anything you want!

Please keep in Mind that when changing the name or the font you will need to adjust all the values that I predefined for the example name.

Most likely you will need to adapt these values:

• textVerticalOffset
• textRotation

If you have an AMS and you want to print in multiple colors you can also change the color of the heartclip and the name and download a .3mf file.

 

A few tips:
 

• Make sure that the name/text is probably attached to the clip so that it will be stable enough. Just adjust the vertical offset and the text rotation to your belongings.

• I felt like 16px fontSize will look best with the heartclip. When you download the model it will get upscaled to 150% so that you can print it good with a 0.4 nozzle. Keep in mind that you might need a bigger scaling when printing with a bigger nozzle.

   

• You might want to flip the object in Bambu Studio so that the front side of the print will be textured/smooth based on the plate you are using.  
  • Open the .3mf file/import the stl file
  • Select the object
  • Press R

  • Rotate the y-axis 180 degrees

 

I'm also planning to make the curve radius of the underline and also the radius of the heart adjustable so that you can style everything freely to your wishes.
