Description

Keter sell a range of garden shed solutions, including the composite material range (they call Artisan and Cortina) which have a sloped flat roof.  Unlike regular sheds, water runs towards the back and into a plastic bar, then to the floor.

I wanted the option to collect rainwater into a barrel, so searched for any way to attach conventional rain gutters, most of which protrude too far out and require screws/holes. There are universal guttering solutions (such as Halls Rainsavers) that don't need screws, but the overhang isn't big enough for them to connect.

I couldn't find a suitable 3D model anywhere either - so I created one in FreeCAD.

The base models provide the ideal profile underneath the rear of the shed's small overhang. The idea is that these wedge underneath, between the overhang and the wall without requiring screws.

There are two ends, with one for connecting to a down-pipe of 22mm.

For flexibility, connectors were created in the slicer, so you can change these if you need for stronger dovetail ones. I decided to opt for a “t&g clamp-style” connector which just slide together - as it is simpler to print.  You might also want to consider glue or silicone if you water-proof joints.

As this will be subject to the elements, PETG or ABS is recommended.
