Jack-O-Benchy Lantern (Pumpkin Benchy)

A Halloween spin on the classic Benchy: a pumpkin-cabin Benchy with a carved jack-o’-lantern face that glows with a small LED. The hull keeps recognizable Benchy lines while the cabin becomes a pumpkin with crisp ribs and a green stem. Prints clean, shows off your tuning, and doubles as a desk-size lantern.

Features

• Lantern-ready hollow cabin; drop in a tea-light LED or 5–10 mm LED.
• Benchy heritage: great for showcasing cooling, overhangs, bridges, and surface finish.
• Support-free on standard profiles; sharp face details at 0.2 mm.
• Color-swap friendly: orange body + green stem on single-extruder (pause at stem height) or MMU.

Recommended Print Settings

• Material: PLA (orange body, green stem; glow PLA looks awesome for the face)
• Layer Height: 0.20 mm (0.28 mm draft also fine)
• Nozzle: 0.4 mm
• Perimeters: 3 walls
• Infill: 12–18% gyroid/cubic
• Top/Bottom: 4–5 top, 4 bottom
• Supports: Off (tuned for ≤45° overhangs)
• Cooling: 70–80% for outer walls; allow 100% on bridges if needed
