Hot air balloon lamp shade

Bring a touch of adventure to your home room with this Hot air balloon lamp shade. Designed for easy 3D printing and assembly, it turns any simple light source into a beautiful lighting balloon.

There are 2 versions of the print profile available for download. The first has a balloon with a fixed hole diameter of 39.8 mm and the second version includes a customizable hole, where you can manually enter the desired diameter.

I printed the balloon using white litho PLA and then painted it with acrylic markers. You can also print it with rainbow filament whick looks great on its own, no painting needed. To connect the basket and the balloon, you can use a piece of string as the rope.
