Chain tolerance test for mini conveyor belt

Here is the mini conveyor belt sistem tolerance test for the chain. 

The chain is put together using filament peaces. To get the right fit on every filament I made this tolerance test. The filament should be stuck to the connecting piece but every filament has other properties so the fits are different.

Here is the step by step instructions on how to execute the tolerance test:

1. print the model

         for context: 

2. ATTENTION: dont take all the pieces of the plate at once to reduce confusion.

3. take the first chain piece (no. 1) and connect it to its connector piece (the piece on the right).

4. then try to feed a larger filament piece  (~10cm) through the hole of the connector

5. if the fit with no. 1 is loose then percede with no. 2 (it should be a fearly tight fit)

6. repeat step 3,4,5 with no. 2, no 3, no. 4 and no. 5 until you find the perfect tight fit.

then go to the original model and print the plate of the chain print profile in the Modular Mini Conveyor Belt System with your number (eg. “12x chain no 2”).
