With the newly released size, it also works great for using a water Jerry Can to supply a small pump, use a can for sink grey water with the 1'' or any other DIY setup you have in mind. Feel free to suggest new designs or features, and I’ll keep you updated on new options!
I wanted increased fuel capacity with the ability to refill or replace the Jerry Can quickly, so here it is.
Now available in multiple sizes and hose types.
While it is possible to insert the gasket into the adapter, this part is intended to work with the Jerry Can straw. Pass the tube through the straw first, then install the adapter and screw ring just like the OEM setup. The goal is to create a weather sealed cap.
The straw tube also acts as a guide for the pickup line inside the tank.
Available nipple styles: 3/32, ¼, 3/8, PC4 M6, and ½ NPT.
The Jerry Pass itself is not threaded, so depending on what you are using, it may self tap as you screw it in. You can also drill or tap it as needed. I simply screwed in the PC4 fitting, backed it out, and screwed it back in, which worked perfectly. The NPT fittings work too, though tapping can help. My favorite is the PC4 M6 with two (007) O rings for sealing.
Please handle the nipples carefully, especially the smaller ones (0.175). The inner diameter has been reduced for strength, but they are still the most delicate part of the design. Gentle handling will help avoid issues.
Important: Do not forget to open the vent. This cap is not vented and is not designed to vent (At least For now) ;).
