There are plenty of Settlers of Catan 3D Versions out there. I think the most know is the one of Dakanzla (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2525047)

 

However, there was an early version and then there is the latest magnetic 2.0 version. In the older version, the tiles looked a bit different.

 

So I tried to find as many different tiles as i could (old version, new version, special tiles made by other ppl) and make all of them fit to the new 2.0 magnetic version. So that in the end i dont have 7 wood tiles looking the same.

 

Additionally i created some stuff on my own to get all the stuff organized.

 

This is the ULTIMATE COLLECTION of Settlers of Catan.

 

So what do you get?

 

You get a fully printable Settlers ofCatan Game including Seafarers and some scenarios for different gameplay. On top you get many different looking tiles. Not like the other version where everything looks the same.

 

You find a lot of stuff in here and all you need to play the game is included in the file. Except 2 dices, which you can print as well (many stl out there), but I recommend to just buy some at Amazon. Printed dices dont have the same weight and feeling like a “real” one.

 

 

What is in the file?

• 3 different ore
• 3 different whey
• 3 different brick
• 4 different wood
• 3 different desert
• 4 different wool
• all the harbors (3 different one in total, as you can use one of the water tiles (the one with the landing stage) as a harbor as well. Just glue the ressource on it)
• volcanos (for colonies scenario)
• jungle (for colonies scenario)
• 13 different water tiles
• wizzards castle
• 4 special tiles (you can come up with your own rules, like you get a development card when the number is diced)
• all the stuff needed for colonies / lost islands and more scenarios
• a interlocking frame with 30° / 60° / 90° Corners, so you dont need to have magnetic tiles.With those new 30 and 90 corner you can have rectangular game boards.
• all the ressources (no cards of the original game required)
• development cards and a storage box
• stackable boxes for the ressources
• a tableau for each player to put his ressources in, so the other players cant see them
• a container that solves the problem how to steal ressources if you play without cards and the number 7 is diced

 

 

So you have the base game + Seafarers and Scenarios. I did not include City & knights as there are already plenty out there and i would not have any changes to that. And more important: You need a lot of new cards with a lot of text on it to play this version. There isnt a print file for it so I just bought those cars on eBay.

 

All models are already coloured. In a way (as long as possible) that even with an AMS you dont have a lot of waste and it does not take ages to print. Some tiles are even possible to print without an AMS as the color changes are at specific layers. Just add a pause and change the filament.

Additional Info:

Playing without ressource cards creates a challenge. How to steal a random ressource when the 7 is diced and the robber becomes active?

I came up with a solution. You'll find the “shuffle box” in the print file.

Just throw all your ressources in and the player who is allowed to steal from you just calls a number from 1-7. He/she then gets the ressource that lies on that number. If its emty…repeat.
