Description
These clamps are useful for automotive and small engine work. I have also seen them used in sap farming. The idea is to pinch the hose enough to slow or stop liquid flow for a short period of time while parts are replaced. These will not damage the hose like vice grips.
To use them, slide the locking ring up to the pivot. Clamp the hose in the pliers' jaws. Move the lock down the handles to hold the clamp in place.
This is a print-in-place part. The pivot point has very tiny support ribs that must be cut or broken after printing. Wait for the part to cool after printing before attempting to rotate the pivot. I find it easiest to cut some of the supports from the side with a utility knife first.
